INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS APPLICATION RESULTS FOR 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR
The results of the applications by international student candidates for the academic year 2019-2020 have been announced.
The candidates who applied to our university between 31 May and 21 June 2019 have been selected in the first admission period. They are kindly asked to read the following items.
The candidates may enroll in the departments they have right to study at on weekdays from 22 to 26 July 2019. Their registrations will be made in the building of Yahya Kemal Classrooms by the Directore of Student Affairs.
The acceptance letters of the candidates are sent to their registered e-mail accounts on the application and they are also downloadable on the application results page.
It is the candidate’s responsibility and s/he will not be registered in case of submitting wrong or missing documents.
Tuition Fees and Deposit for Registration

Tuition fees will be paid to the internet account of Halk Bank, or via the ATMs of Halk Bank or in one of Halk Bank branches in person giving the foreign national number, name and surname.

NOTE: The fees belong to the academic year 2018-2019 and they will be updated according to the decision taken at the Council of Ministers. If any change, the rest of the fees will be charged.

International Student Participant Form and Questionnaire
All the candidates must fill out the international student participant form and questionnaire that asks for the information about their participation in the Turkish Language Proficiency Exam and detailed information about their registrations until 21 July 2019 at the latest.
Turkish Language Proficiency Exam (TLPE)
The candidates who do not hold a Turkish language certificate in C1 level achieved in the exams administered by one of Turkish universities (other certifications will not be accepted) must take the TLPE assessing 4 language skills to be held on 16-17 September 2019. Those who fail in this exam are registered in the Turkish Language Preparatory Classes taught by Bartın University Language Center.
TLPE written exam session starts at 10.00am on 16 Sept. 2019 (Monday) in the building of the Faculty of Forestry. The speaking exam will be administered on 17 Sept. 2019 (Tuesday) in the building of Yahya Kemal Classrooms. The start time for speaking exam will be announced to the candidates on the day of written exam.

Obligatory Orientation Program
An orientation program for all newly registered international students will be held on 18 September 2019 (Wednesday) and they must state it in the participation form.

Programs Admitting Students with Special Talent Exam
The departments of the Faculty of Sport Sciences and the department of Art Teaching at the Faculty of Education will hold their own exams, as well. Please visit the website of the related department.

Programs with Obligatory Preparatory Classes
The candidates for the Department of English Language Teaching, Translation Studies and Islamic Sciences are administered a language proficiency exam (please visit the website of the related academic unit for the exam dates). The successful students are registered in the departments while the failing ones are registered in the prep classes. If the student still fails in 2 years at the latest, they will be dismissed or they may be registered to another program offering lectures in Turkish upon request (it must be one of the programs selected on the application).
*The classes of Tourism and Travel Services, Marine and Yacht Administration, Shipbuilding, Maritime and Port Management at Bartın Vocational School are taught in the district of Kurucaşile.
***The classes of Office Management and Executive Assistant Training, Clothing Manifacturing Technology, Land Registry Cadastre and Forestry and Forest Products at Ulus Vocational School are taught in the district of Ulus.
