Mission

By creating a contemporary learning and information environment, Bartın University aims to educate individuals, who have devoted themselves to learning, researching and producing, develope their critical thinking, communication, cooperation and problem solving skills, produce information and technologies required by our era, have social, scientific and ethical values, and who will shape our country’s future. Bartın University has committed itself to contribute to the lifelong education and development process of the society.

Vision

Its vision is to be a reputable education, science and technical university that

develop the interdisciplinary and interfaculty education, research and cooperation
attach importance to student-centered education
implement regular and distance education programmes efficiently according to contemporary understanding of science
prioritize the development in agriculture, forestry and tourism in the region
and contribute to firstly Bartın and the region and then Turkish economic, social and cultural development
