Dear Students and Academic Staff

Welcome to the International Program Office (IPO) at Bartın University! Our office aims at providing administrative service, professional support and advising services to both local and international students, scholars and guests at Bartın University regarding education and exchange programs, life, sports, culture and many other social and academic activities at Bartın.

IPO is devoted to providing quality, accurate and fast advising services, consulting, and organizational support to local students, staff members and international guests. Exchange programs are the most frequently used service areas we deal with in this office. From Mevlana – to – Erasmus and International Student Programs, our office takes care of planning and mobility phases of these programs, and helps incoming and outgoing students and staff within the framework of these activities. In the exchange program office, we organize how the outgoing students and staff are selected to study or teach and undergo training and traineeship abroad at many of our partner universities or other kinds of institutions or organizations.   

International students contribute to the social and cultural diversity of our community which we cherish. We have recently increased the quota of our international student admissions in many of the programs I have mentioned above. Not only it is important to receive more students from other countries, but also we take into consideration how they can be better integrated with our education system, lifestyle and work life after graduation and take actions to achieve these goals. During the academic year, IPO organizes several cultural, sporting and social activities through which our international students may represent and share their own cultures and identities with our local community.
